This project was one of the freelance jobs that I worked on for a Christian client who was looking for a designer to design her book cover called, The 5 Steps of Faith. Before starting on the project the client gave me a brief summary of what her book was about before starting the design process. She explained to me that she wanted a book cover that fully illustrates the ideal of “Planting seeds” and the more that an individual continues to plant those seeds and strengthen their faith, The result is a beautiful transformation. Throughout the design process, my client was particular about what she wanted as far as the visuals go. She describe that she wanted a silhouette of a person with plants and flowers spouting out the head as a representation of faith and growth.
